The Springfield public pools will open on May 27th, but be aware that there is an important update. This year they’ll require you to be registered with the Park Board for a digital ID. This is a new safety measure they’re they’re putting into place due to some issues that took place last year. This digital ID will include your name, parents names for minors, your photo and contact info.

You’ll have to register on the park board website and those who do register will get a free pool pass for a day.
