HARD PASS: Hot Dog Water Hard Seltzer

First there was the beer made from toilet water and now hot dog water seltzer? I've been known to put weird things in my mouth, but I don't think hot dog water seltzer is going to be one of them.

HARD PASS: Beer made with recycled waste water

Yeah, that's a no from me, dawg. Would you try this beer?

Def Leppard is the latest band to get with the popularity of beauty products

YOOOOO!!!!  This is pretty rad!

Ladies, you get it, the good make up is expensive. Even though we know that these collaborations between bands & brands are great sales strategies, we're still gonna spend the money. But..... here's a line that is surprisingly affordable, between $9 and $25.

The Night Stalker was denied access to see Metallica

Imagine being a fan of a particular band and finding out that they're shooting a video where you're at and you can't go see them. That's what happened to Richard Ramirez aka "The Night Stalker". Metallica used San Quentin State Prison as the backdrop to their St. Anger video, the same place Richard Ramirez was being held. Read the article for more interesting details on how Kirk Hammett thinks it could have been possible that they were at the same parties back in the day.

Kenny G. Goes Metal

Who would have thought that one day Kenny G. would go metal? Well, it happened. Kenny G. is one of the best-selling artists of all-time, has lent his talent to metal band, Imperial Triumphant alongside his son, Max who is also featured on the song.

The best part of this whole thing is the video. If you like weird stuff, then this is for you. It's an Eyes Wide Shut flavored visual cacophony of stuff. Kenny G just stands there in a jumpsuit with a gas mask (a 'la Slipknot) until his part and then weirdly lurks away when he's done. You really need to watch this video.

Jose Mangin Launches "Headbang for Science"

Dude! How cool is this? I've never met the guy but I think Jose Mangin is a solid dude!  Jose just launched "Headbang for Science," a nonprofit dedicated to helping metal-loving high schoolers focused on science and medicine get into college. I recently had a moment when I had an appointment with a doctor and he comes in asking me what my hoodie says. I said it's an As I Lay Dying hoodie. He then goes on to tell me that is one of his favorite bands and as he's telling me what he likes about them, my mind is a little blown. Metalheads are everywhere. If you've got a little headbanger, make sure they check this out.
