Shinedown is launching a clothing line

Shinedown is about to hit the fashion industry with SD Limited.

Zach Myers says SD Limited aims to “deconstruct the classic rock shirt, throw it in a blender with street fashion, and strip it all down to a central message of community.” The first SD Limited collection is inspired by Shinedown’s 2008 album The Sound of Madness. It will drop this Friday, November 27.

What do you get when you mix Waffle House with beer?

You get Bacon & Kegs!

This changes everything! A Waffle House bacon flavored beer? I like bacon and beer, I mean who doesn’t? The one thing that sucks about this, for those of us in Missouri, is that we’ll have to go to Georgia to get some.

Anyone down for a road trip?

Stop what you’re doing and listen to Architects “Animals”

If you’re into the hard and heavy stuff, then you’ve heard of Architects before. We played them on The Pit and if for whatever reason you don’t have this band on your radar, you’re missing out, my friend. Their last album, Holy Hell was a goddamn masterpiece, but just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, they go and release this new song. Now, for those who really know me you know that I am a sucker for art and photography. Videos that are visually pleasing with major creative content are my favorite…but this, though. Dude, this hits pretty hard. Lyrically & visually. The wonderful use of color, the composition, the textures, the minimalist shots and that emotionless facial expression ties it all together and kicked me in the gut. Like I said, it hits hard. I feel it on a level that is beyond being a metal fan, beyond being a radio dj, it hits on a personal level and that’s why I love music and art. If it can make you actually feel something, then it has served its purpose.

Architects new album is set to release next year, but in the meantime watch this video. You’ll be glad you did.

Leslie’s Stupid Question: The Oatmeal Question – REVISITED

Back in the day I would ask Fish a stupid question at the end of his show. It became a regular thing for a while and each time my questions became more amazing than the last. That is, until I asked this question: where does oatmeal come from? To this day, I think this is the funniest question I ever asked him.

Slave To The Grind is 30????

It’s crazy to think that this album is 30. Slave To The Grind is my favorite Skid Row album and I would 100% love to see a tour for this!
