I recently had the incredible opportunity to chat with the one and only Chris Daughtry to discuss his latest single, upcoming album, and exciting tour plans. This was such a fun interview, and it was great to finally talk with Chris about all the amazing things he has in store for 2025 and beyond.

“The Dam” – Climbing the Active Rock Charts

Daughtry’s latest single, “The Dam,” is making waves on Active Rock radio, currently sitting at No. 13 and climbing. The track has been receiving massive support from fans and rock stations across the country, solidifying Daughtry’s place as a powerhouse in the rock scene.

To complement the single, Daughtry and his label (Big Machine Label Group) recently dropped an epic, sci-fi-inspired music video for “The Dam,” directed by the talented Jensen Noen (who has worked with Twenty One Pilots and Falling In Reverse). The video is available on all platforms and is a must-watch for fans of visually stunning, story-driven rock videos.

Shock to the System (Part One) & What’s Next

“The Dam,” along with the band’s previous chart-topping singles “Pieces” and “Artificial,” are all featured on Shock to the System (Part One), Daughtry’s debut release with Big Machine Rock. The album, released on September 27th, 2024, is the first installment of a two-part project, with Shock to the System (Part Two) expected to drop later this year.

Daughtry shared some insight into what fans can expect from the upcoming release and how this two-part approach allows him to explore different sonic landscapes. Given the success of Part One, anticipation is high for the next chapter in this epic rock journey.

Touring with Disturbed and Creed

Fans won’t have to wait long to see Daughtry live, as the band is gearing up for two massive tours in 2024.

  • First up, they’ll be hitting the road with Disturbed on The Sickness 25th Anniversary Tour, running from March 29th to May 17th.
  • Later in the summer, they’ll be joining Creed for the highly anticipated Summer of ’99 Tour, which includes a stop at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena in August.

Chris expressed his excitement about getting back on the road and playing these new songs live, promising an unforgettable experience for fans attending these shows.
