Why Free Adoptions?

Southwest Missouri is currently facing an overwhelming number of homeless and neglected animals. By offering free adoptions, C.A.R.E. aims to:

  • Save more at-risk animals.
  • Reduce unwanted litters by placing spayed/neutered pets in loving homes.
  • Make room for more animals in urgent need of rescue.

Every pet at the C.A.R.E. Adoption Center is fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and ready to bring love into your home. Research shows that people care for their pets just as deeply, regardless of whether they’re adopted for free or purchased, making this a win-win for both adopters and the animals.

How You Can Help

While adoptions are free, the cost of veterinary care and services isn’t. C.A.R.E. is surrendering its typical December adoption fees, which usually raise $10,000, to prioritize saving lives this holiday season. You can support their lifesaving mission by becoming a sponsor:
