Rock fans, get ready — BUSH is back with their 10th studio album, I Beat Loneliness, dropping July 18 via earMUSIC. And if the first single, “60 Ways To Forget People,” is any indication of what’s coming, we’re in for a powerful ride.

The new track is everything you want from BUSH in 2025 — raw, gritty, and anthemic. The chorus is instantly catchy (it’s been stuck in my head since first listen), and Chris Traynor’s guitar work is next-level. It’s that perfect blend of emotional weight and sonic punch that has defined BUSH’s legacy, but with a fresh edge that feels like a rebirth over the last few albums.

Produced by frontman Gavin Rossdale alongside Erik Ron (known for his work with Godsmack and Bad Omens), I Beat Loneliness dives deep into themes of mental health, isolation, and the quiet strength it takes to carry on — a reflection of personal and collective struggles over the last few years. Gavin has described it as “one of those weird titles,” but it couldn’t be more fitting for an album that is deeply introspective yet undeniably powerful.

What makes this release even more heartfelt is the album artwork — a beautiful, symbolic image created by Gavin himself. Following the recent loss of his mother, Gavin chose to honor her in a deeply personal way:

“My Mother’s favorite flowers were peonies. I created this image for the cover. Two flowers immortalized forever. Suspended in beauty and intrigue. I thought of Man Ray and all the beauty that comes out of imperfection.” – 🖤 GR

The cover is striking — delicate and haunting, much like the album itself promises to be.

BUSH has always found a way to evolve while staying grounded in the sound that made them iconic. From their 1994 debut Sixteen Stone to their current output, they’ve sold over 24 million records, earned 1.1 billion streams, and delivered some of the most enduring rock songs of the last three decades. And now, with I Beat Loneliness, Gavin Rossdale, Chris Traynor, Corey Britz, and Nik Hughes are proving once again why they remain a driving force in rock music.
