Rocklahoma Artist Interviews - Nothing More
The Nothing More story starts in San Antonio, Texas where Johnny Hawkins and Mark Vollelunga started hanging out and jamming in their middle school days. Johnny played the drums and Mark played guitar. The two continued to hone their craft though high school and after several line up changes, the band as we know it, got things rolling after finishing the self-titled album in 2013. But it was their performance at the Aftershock Festival in the fall of 2013, when after killing it on the first day, the band was asked to come back and play again on the second. That show got the attention of Eleven Seven Music where they signed a 5 album deal and as they say, the rest is history!
Ray Michaels, who's interviewed the guys a couple times before, asked about the status of the famous Scorpions Tail, their latest music, and what the future holds for Nothing More.
