There’s nothing quite like being at a NASCAR race — and being back at Kansas Speedway for the Advent Health 400 reminded us exactly why we love this sport. The sights, the sounds, the smells — it’s not just a race, it’s a whole vibe.
The day was sunny and warm, creating the perfect backdrop for high-speed action. Before the engines fired up, we hit the garage, where the energy was electric. Crews were hard at work fine-tuning every detail of the cars, fans were buzzing with anticipation, and drivers were focused but friendly — we even got to chat with a few and snap some photos with fellow race lovers.
We took full advantage of the day, walking through the tunnel to snag some race-day merch, grab a hot dog, and enjoy an ice-cold drink before the green flag waved. Then it was time to take it all in from pit lane, watching the intensity unfold up close.
Kyle Larson was the clear force to be reckoned with, dominating much of the race in his Hendrickcars.com Chevy. But as always in NASCAR, no lead is safe. In the closing laps, the action turned chaotic with wrecks involving Daniel Suárez, Bubba Wallace, Brad Keselowski, and others, shaking up the field and keeping us on edge.
When the checkered flag waved, it was Larson and his team celebrating in Victory Lane, and we were lucky enough to be right there with them — a perfect ending to an unforgettable day.
Huge thanks to NASCAR for having us out, and a big shoutout to Kansas Speedway for always delivering a top-tier race day experience. We’re already counting down the days until we’re back in the fall.
