I fell in LOVE with Volbeat the second I heard "Fallen". Then "A Warriors Call" stole my little heart and now "Still Counting" is in my brain and I can't get enough. Scope it out....

I've heard a lot of music by Black Stone Cherry and I've liked it all ok but none of it moved me like this one. The lyrics - his voice. It's mainstream & catchy - I like. I think this may be the single to put these guys on the Rock Map!

Oh Kyng - I hated your record, I really did. I thought it was below average. 50 showed up to see you live - I thought that was the end of you. And just when I thought you couldnt do any worse - you go & release "I DONT BELIEVE" and prove me wrong. I dig this track and hope you guys can come up with more like this. If you don't, we might have to break up.....

It's always nice to have something to look forward too. Whether it's a holiday, pay day or a vacation.
Upcoming excitement keeps me going at a more accelerated rate, that's just the way it is.
But really, there's something about KNOWING IT'S GOING TO GET WARM RIGHT HERE IN SPRINGFIELD THAT I LONG FOR.
I'm no fool. I know this 60 degrees in January business cant last forever- although I wish it would!
But, for the record, in 129 days, my happy butt will be at Table Rock Lake! We swam in Table Rock Lake last Memorial day & it wasn't bad at all. Im hoping this year we can say the same!

I'm finally out of the sling and I really don't care if I EVER see it EVER again!
I can raise my arm about 40 degrees forward. I'll begin my 6 weeks of therapy in February.
They said someday --YES, SOMEDAY, my arm will work again! ha!
I wanna introduce you to a few of my "Special" friends. I call them "Special" because they really are. One needs a helmet and the other needs a caregiver 24/7.
Here's Angela. She somehow got me to go to Midnight Rodeo. I really was in shock the entire time I was there.
It's like Country Bumpkin song in to Dr.Dre. Weird combo.
And of course the minute I sit down, someone says "Hey do you work at Q102?"
I said "uhhhhh......uhmmmm.....uhhhhhh....yes....no....kinda....well, maybe".
And the guy said "I was wondering what the hell Kristen from Q102 would be doing here".
"I said "oh, yeah...uhhhh, Im not Kristen....Im Shadow"
**My buddy Ang also has problems keeping her hands to herself, obviously.
Then there's my Brazillian friend Itamar.
He's very special. He can do a killer impression of the Joker, make great mexican food and do a chinese firedrill like you've never seen.
He has 8 awards for the drill, seriously.
This is Itamar at the NEW Big Whiskeys on Battlefield. We watched the BORING Redskins/Giants game there.
Fried pickles, wings, beer, cheeseburgers & fries. We tore it up. New years resolutions can start in February....right?!?!
