Springfield, MO: Enjoy one of the area’s largest fall arts and crafts festivals! The 16th Annual Cider Days on Historic Walnut Street, presented by Great Southern, will be held on September 21 & 22, 2013 from 10am-5pm both days. This two-day fall festival will feature regional artists and crafters, three performance stages, a free children’s area, and of course – real apple cider! Admission is $4 per person; children 10 and under are free.
Cider Days features over 65 artists and crafters from the region, and includes jewelry, clay, painting, wood, glass, and photography. All arts and crafts are hand-made, and the festival draws over 15,000 people annually. This year's festival will feature several vendors with Springfield and Missouri-themed merchandise including the Missouri is Awesome line by 5# Apparel and a new line of letterpress items from local printer, Trader's Printing Company.
In addition to arts and crafts, Cider Days also includes over 25 different performances each day from some of the area’s most talented groups, fun kid’s activities and apple cider!
Cider Days on Historic Walnut Street is presented by Great Southern, and sponsored by Midwest Family Broadcasting, Ozark Empire Fair Foundation, Hoover Music Company, University Plaza, Welk Resorts, Ozarks Coca-Cola/Dr Pepper Bottling Company, Bryan Properties, The News-Leader, The Daily Events, Pet Warehouse, Springfield-Greene County Park Board, and the Historic Walnut Street Association. The event is managed by the Urban Districts Alliance.
